About Our Company
Our Mission is to provide our members with the highest quality product that will safely, simply and securely store their most precious information concerning their health and their valuable estate information.
LifeNet™ was founded in 2007 by Barb Griec (President) and Max Smith (CEO). We come from careers in the financial services industry and the healthcare field. We have been joined in this venture by Kandis Jamison (COO) who brings with her a background in the corporate world of finance, healthcare and securities. It was our desire to embark on a journey of creating a company with a culture, all too often, not found in the corporate environment. In early 2007, while traveling throughout the country, we engaged a lot of people around the areas where we stayed. Somehow the conversations seemed to turn to issues of health and particularly “what will happen if I get
sick while I’m here and away from home”. The other topic, that seemed to come up, was “when I die, will my love ones know what I really want to happen with my affairs”.
A number of the, otherwise well organized, people we met acknowledged that they had made some or all of these arrangements, but it was in a paper format and the likelihood of someone remembering where the information was, finding it and following the instructions was fairly remote. They also agreed that as they had become more mobile it was increasingly difficult to carry the information with them.
